Gambler Eel Soft Plastic Fishing Lure

The Gambler Eel is a long-profile soft plastic lure built to imitate an eel, sand eel, or other slender forage fish. Its ribbed body and tapered tail create a natural profile that can be worked slowly through the strike zone or retrieved to imitate fleeing bait.

When to Use It

Reach for the Gambler Eel when predators are feeding on long, narrow forage, when you need a larger soft-plastic profile, or when fish are holding around current seams, structure, beaches, inlets, bridges, jetties, and deeper water.

How to Fish It

Rig it on an appropriately sized jig head or weighted hook and fish it with a steady retrieve, slow sweep-and-pause presentation, or near-bottom jigging action. The 8-inch model offers a more compact presentation, while the 10-inch model provides a larger profile for bigger predators.

Target Species

Striped bass, cobia, snook, tarpon, bluefish, and other predatory freshwater and saltwater gamefish.
