The Gambler Hollow Belly Hover Minnow 4.25” is a larger-profile finesse minnow built for anglers targeting suspended and pressured fish with forward-facing sonar. Its hollow-body construction gives the bait additional buoyancy, helping it hover and remain in the strike zone longer than a typical solid soft plastic while you make precise presentations to individual fish. 

A realistic baitfish profile, detailed scale pattern, lifelike eye and subtle fin-style tail create a natural presentation with very little movement required. Small twitches of the rod can make the tail quiver like a nervous or injured baitfish, making the Hover Minnow particularly effective when bass follow a lure but refuse more aggressive presentations. 

The larger 4.25” profile is an excellent choice when fish are feeding on adult shad and other larger forage. Fish it on a hover-strolling rig, finesse jig head or other forward-facing-sonar presentation around suspended bait schools, points, offshore structure, creek channels and open water. Gambler specifically designed the larger Hollow Hover Min-O for bigger hover rigs and hover-strolling applications. 

Target Fish: Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and spotted bass are the primary targets. The realistic baitfish profile can also be effective for striped bass and hybrid striped bass when they are feeding on shad or similar forage.
