Danco Mini Lip Locker Fish Gripper

Handle freshly caught fish with greater control while keeping your hands farther away from sharp teeth, spines and exposed hooks. This 8-inch fish lip gripper features self-adjusting stainless-steel jaws that securely hold a fish by the lower lip for hook removal, quick photos and short-distance handling.

The spring-loaded release mechanism allows the jaws to open quickly, while the deeply textured, slip-resistant handle provides a dependable grip around wet hands. An attached adjustable wrist strap adds security and helps prevent the tool from being dropped into the water.

Its compact size fits easily inside a tackle box, boat compartment, kayak crate or bank-fishing bag. The gripper is suitable for freshwater and saltwater use and is especially helpful when handling toothy fish, spiny species or catches hooked with treble-hook lures.
