The 6¼-inch Xcite Baits Slim-X is a slender finesse worm with a center egg sack that makes it especially useful for wacky presentations. Its understated profile suits pressured bass and deliberate presentations in ponds, around docks and along edges of cover.
Features
6¼-inch slim finesse worm
center egg sack for wacky rigging
suitable for wacky and weedless Texas-rig presentations.
Best Way to Rig
For wacky rigging, place a finesse hook at the center egg sack, optionally using an O-ring to reduce damage. Around vegetation or wood, rig weedless on an appropriately sized offset worm hook. Keep the worm straight and avoid an oversized hook that stiffens the bait.
Techniques & Presentation
Let a wacky rig fall on semi-slack line, then gently lift and allow it to fall again. Texas rig and work slowly beside docks, brush and grass edges.
On-the-Water Tips
Watch the line as the worm falls; subtle ticks or sideways movement may indicate a bite. In clear water, start with natural colors and lighter line where practical.
Recommended Rigging & Pairings
Wacky hooks and O-rings; offset worm hooks; light bullet weights for Texas rigs. These are Xmark Outdoors rigging suggestions; verify fit and size before purchasing.
